About Me

Hi! I’m Danielle and I am the owner of ARTventurers Wakefield East and the Five Towns. I am mummy to little Marley and we love to explore and get creative together! I come from an art teaching background, having taught in primary and secondary schools and with young offenders. Art and creativity is my absolute passion!
I run my business from our dedicated children’s art studio, ARTspace by ARTventurers which is on Normanton High Street. We run a range of different classes, parties and lots more – my husband Mark is also part of the team and runs some of our sessions too.

We honestly have the best franchise team at ARTventurers, such an inspirational group of women, full of positivity and huge support for each other! Who says that babies can't create art?!
Our Baby ARTventurers course is a multi award winning art programme especially developed for mini artists aged 6 months to 18 months. It's colourful, creative, LOTS of fun, all about building skills and confidence through art, and each baby will complete the term with a beautiful showstopper masterpiece to treasure forever! 🐝

🌟 Spotlight on our Tiny ARTventurers classes 🌟
We LOVE getting children involved in art from an early age, which is why we developed a programme for our tiniest artists, aged 3-6 months!! During the 5 week term, your little artist will create their first masterpieces with lots of sensory ideas, paint, different tools and textures! 👶🎨🖌
Come and begin your creative journey in our Tiny ARTventurers term starting next week - Mondays at 12.40pm or Tuesdays at 1.10pm!We start each class with our warm-up song and explore a magic basket of sensory resources. We explain our weekly theme and activities and you are then free to create artwork at your own pace on your own designated mat, with full support from us to get the perfect footprints and keepsakes, we have our giant painting area to explore, as well as a sensory tray or photo area. We work on a 'showstopper' week by week which results in a precious masterpiece to treasure 🥰 Our weighing scales are always available too ⚖️We can't wait to welcome you all!Please get in touch if you have any questions,

🐝 Introducing our Showstopper for this term! 🐝
One of the benefits of attending an ARTventurers term is that you and your little one get to work on a showstopper keepsake together 😍
Alongside the activities and artwork from our weekly themes, we will be working stage by stage on a bee themed wall hanging, using lots of different techniques and processes!
We can't wait to get started with you all! 💕We still have some spaces if you'd like to join in with the #artventurersfun 🎨🖌 Our term starts NEXT WEEK! 💛🖤💛🖤💛

It's been a quadruple party weekend at ARTspace! 🥳 We zoomed to space for Rudi's first birthday, flew to Hogwarts for Izzy's 8th birthday, drifted to Disneyland for Amber's 2nd birthday, then we were transported to world of Rainbow Friends for Jacob's 5th birthday! Wow! Thank you all so much for choosing to spend your birthday getting painty with us! We hope you all had the best time 🎨🖌

We've had so much fun in our Wonka inspired classes this week, pouring and squidging chocolate gloop, spinning giant lollipops, designing chocolate wrappers, decorating biscuits, popping bubbles, printing our neon hands and feet and exploring our giant swirly painting area 🍥🍭🍭🍪🍬🎨🖌 You were all absolutely fantastic ✨️✨️✨️Head to our website to see what theme is in store for our next holiday class in May 😀

We LOVE process art at ARTventurers!
Creativity doesn't need to be complicated, and by giving our children these opportunities to explore and immerse themselves in the process, we are giving them valuable skills for life!
